There is nothing, Sir, too little for so little a creature as man. It is by studying little things that we attain the great art of having as little misery and as much happiness as possible.
I am constantly in awe of life’s little details. Details of a miracle really… I love how God continuously finds ways to keep me completely in awe of this life!
Yesterday my family adopted a new family member! 5 years ago we adopted Missy an Australian Kelpie and she has been THE most amazing addition to our group! I don’t post many pictures of her because she is a TRUE photographer’s dog… She hates the camera! I always thought we would be a one dog family, but a few days ago the local animal shelter posted a face that called to my heart and had me begging and pleading for another puppy! CRAZY, I know I am, 3 boys, a small business, PTO, a full grown dog… But, I digress.
World, meet Mable -Jeanne Hildebrandt!
She’s a Grand Griffon Vendeen Mix….
We rescued her from our local Animal Shelter, which I recommend, but it’s not for the faint of heart…
They DO spay and vaccinate them before handing them over, but with little to no funding, it’s hard for them to do much else. She was covered in fleas, SO dirty, full of ear mites etc. I took her to my vet immediately to ensure not only that I got her on the correct healing path but also, not contagious to our Missy girl.
Missy is slowly getting used to the idea, these things take time, I know. But so far Mable has been an adorable bundle of sweetness! I mean, LOOK at this face!
Their first kiss was a fist bump… These two had my heart after that little tid bit! Their engagement session was at the quaint Haile Village in Gainesville. It’s the kind of place you can grab a glass of wine, sushi, or a cupcake all on one street! One of it’s best features though, they have Caylin & Joseph close by to visit 🙂
She was silent. A new little girl; eyes opened; hands clasped. And she would not be defeated.
On the first day of Spring, Kim & Ryan said “I do”, with details of mint green and homage paid to Ryan’s career. Their celebration was one filled with plenty of pretty, love, (not just each other’s, but family and friends too) and oh so much fun! Even though it was an exceptionally hot spring day, littles and adults alike gathered to play games, dance and show their appreciation and love for this couple!

The stars & planets aligned earlier this year for us to FINALLY get together for their engagement session. OH MY STARS this couple… I have never laughed so much on a session! Their wedding later was exactly the same, but that’s a whole other post!

Katrina & Ryan came to me to document their 5 year anniversary! I was honored to help these two celebrate such a beautiful love. Marriage isn’t easy y’all. It’s a true celebration to make it a year in this day & age, much less 5… or the 14 my husband & I celebrated his year. No it isn’t easy, but it’s worth every wonderful second. Their love absolutely radiates when you’re around them! Through a rained out first attempt & attack of the killer ants, we were finally able to pull off a session! I really enjoyed photographing their love & cannot wait for their wedding day next March at Rembert Farm! It is so beautiful there, I adore the sycamore tree lined driveway and the wild abandoned fields.
